Anybody remember this game?I don't remember too much about this, but I remember playing the first level and the second of I believe Nightmare Creatures II a LOT when I was younger:lol. I remember it being pretty hard.
That is why I never got very far. Speaking of it, I would actually like to re-try these games now, about. Well, 12 years later it must be?!:) To be honest, I can't remember if it was 1 or 2 I played, but I remember the first level you had to walk forward a bit, and then if you looked to your right there was like a little cave thing (it's only one room), and then if you went straight on from the start of the level, you end up in a graveyard, if I remember correctly. I have Nightmare Creatures II on Dreamcast.

It sucks because it's unfairly hard. And I don't mean challenging. This game throws a tons of monsters at you in a 3D beat-em up with horror overtones. But there's like no power-ups or health or anythng to help you out and the monsters just overwhelm you. And to top it all off, you don't even have a chance to be skilled against them because this is a button-masher in the most basic sense. It's just a poor, poor game that was more concerned with looking like a cross between a Marilyn Manson and Cradle of Filth music video rather than actually being a good game. The only reason I still own it is because no shops I've tried to trade it in to have wanted it since it's disc only and nearly unheard of.
I haven't played the first game, but if the sequel is any indicator, I don't want to. I had the demo for the PC version when I was a kid and I thought the game was great. The demo level took place in a snowy graveyard.
The NC I remember looks nothing like that terrible screen:? Fend_oblivion Actually, I thought that the screen looked pretty good, especially since it must have came out around 1997 or 1998, but that's just me:P.
Interesting to see a lot of people did play it, but not much, just like me! I actually want to try this game again soon now. But to be honest, at the same time, I don't want to since somebody above said that there is no health or anything (perhaps THAT is why I could never get very far).
