I was suffering from crashing on almost every single goddamn autosave the game made (zone transfer, rest, fast travel, leaving game menu, leaving vendor menu, leaving crafting menu.), I much rather suffer from an occasional 1.5-2 sec for saving than to restard the game 18 times an hour. I think I've only crashed once or twice since installing this, and it was only on post-death reload. I gotta tweak the autosaving conditions though. I died to a Draugr Death Overlord (legendary difficulty.
Bleh) almost at the end of Dustman's Cairn and have to repeat almost the whole thing now. Perhaps you can try the mod, Load Game CTD Fix: First, Skyrim is a crashy, bugy, game; especially when you add mods. If anything goes wrong, Bugthesda has no error management routines, no conflict resolution, nada. Their solution is, lockup or show you your Desktop. Now to the problem when you save and/or load a savegame file. Skyrim was made to run on a two-core system. As it turns out Bugthesda didn’t put in an error routine to check wither or not both cores were trying to load/save the same record.
Skyrim Script Extender is a must for many of the mods I’ve chosen, and since you’ll be using that, you’ll definitely want to get SkyUI. SkyUI’s Mod Configuration Menu is invaluable. Security camera ssf files for sergio. Personally, I use Nexus Mod Manager, but I’ve considered using Mod Organizer, mostly because of the mod profiles.
While this is a very rare event, as your savegame file gets larger the odds of this error occurring increases resulting in a game crash. Load Game CTD Fix, solves the problem by limiting Skyrim to a single core while loading/saving the game. It takes longer, but crashes a lot less. I don’t notice any crashes while using, Autosave Manager, with, Load Game CTD Fix, but the pauses when an autosave occurs are noticeable and slightly annoying, yet bearable when the game crashes for no apparent reason and I have a recent save to recover my progress. I hope this is helpful. Once I made my selections in the MCM menu, they could not be changed again. Back to default or otherwise.
It appeared that I could select a different option, but nothing changed in my game -- whichever choice I made was stuck. Before I realized that, tried different configurations and combinations. Every one of those edits remained, even though I tried selecting 'Disabled'. In the end, I disabled everything but ended up with the game auto-saving all over the place. The MCM menu could use a 'Force reset' option. I have the most current SkyUI, SKSE, and naturally the game is current.
