Tuesday, December 8, 2015 'I have a contact which is available for chat on Viber. We can text each other on Viber but I cannot call this person's ordinary mobile phone number which is the same as for Viber. The line is busy all the time. Is it possible that this person has blocked incoming calls but is only available to text in Viber?'
When Viber is only available for chat but incoming calls, there is an option that can help you allow incoming calls/video calls. But make sure that the contact doesn't block your incoming calls. Step 1 Go to Calls and Messages Open call on your Android phone.
Sign into your account with your phone number and verification code. Next, choose the More option (three-bar icon at the lower-right corner).
Scroll down to select ' Settings' > ' Calls and messages'. Step 2 Allow Viber Incoming Calls Allow Viber-in Calls: Select ' Viber-In Calls'.
This will allow the phone to receive regular incoming calls with Viber when possible. Allow Video Calls: Select Video calls. In the next screen, choose the ' On' button and turn on ' Video calls' option. If you follow the steps above, you should enable or receive incoming calls now.
Viber: Contact joined Viber If you are a Viber user and your friends are a Viber user, you may have already experienced this: joined Viber. This notification is very helpful specially if you really want to track your friends as they join Viber. Well, yeah, sure its very helpful. However, some of us does not really want to notify the world that we joined Viber the first time right (my significant other included)? With that being said, I took this topic for research and investigated on the conditions that must be met before someone is notified that you recently joined Viber. In order for Viber to notify your friends that you joined Viber for the first time, it needs the following conditions: • You joined Viber for the first time. • The contact that will be notified (your friend or some stalker) is on Viber and has Viber installed in their phone.
• The contact that will be notified has your number in their contacts list. Now, if you login and synchronize your contacts in Viber for the first time, the Viber app will look into your phone’s contacts, copy the numbers including your own mobile number to their servers (), and compare them with their list of registered users. Almena method touch typing lessons. If your contact number matches a user’s contacts list in their server, it will send a push notification to their phone that you have recently joined Viber.
So how do we stop this? I can’t really say. But I guess the only way to prevent Viber from notifying someone that you recently joined Viber is to actually delete your number in their contacts list before you join Viber.
